Robin Guthrie - Lumiere. Scott and I went and saw Robin Guthrie, of the Cocteau Twins, perform a live sountrack to his 40 minute film Lumiere on Monday night at the Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI. "Lumiere is a 40 minute long animated film created as a backdrop to a sublime collection of sensual and atmospheric, guitar only, instrumentals of truly hypnotic beauty performed live by Robin Guthrie. As the founder member of the seminal Cocteau Twins, Robin Guthrie has created some of the most beautiful music of recent times and is widely regarded as a musical visionary.
