I wonder when the first Colorado Slopes will get this? The Lake Tahoe ski resort is now covered in Wi-Fi, courtesy of Exwire: Future services on the network will let PDA users see where their friends are within the resort. Exwire is charging $2.50 an hour, $8 a day, $21 per week or $29 per month.... [802.11b Networking News]

I Finally got around to upgrading this site to the latest (development) version of Pivot, which means that this site now validates as XHTML, the stylesheet validates as CSS2, and the RSS feed validates as well. All of this, off course, is Mr. Zeldman’s fault!

You know, I'm a bit of a geek and as such, I love t-shirts! Imagine my surprise last night to get home to discover that a very nice gentleman at Microsoft has sent me the ultimately in PDC blogging t-shirts. I'll be wearing it with pride (but for just the one day, obviously)!

Kill Bill was the best fucking movie I've seen in the last 5 years. I went and saw it tonight with Mike, Josh, Krystal, and Zach. Oof! So much Kool-Aid. So much blood pumping action. But more than all that, I just love the cinematography and all the various textures...

Electronic Gaming Monthly has one of the best articles I’ve read in a while. Nine kids, ages 9-12, were forced to play classic videogames and give their commentary. I want nothing more to be a 9 to 12-year-old kid right...

Robert Scoble provides tips on how to present to a technical audience. Good tips all around, though I always save something neat until the end as well. Most people remember the bookends- what came at the beginning and the end. :) [Listening to: Shawn Colvin / Never Say Blue Like That - Various Artists - Runaway Bride - Mo

I've had an opportunity to play with iTunes 4.1. They added two features which are pretty cool, gift certificates and allowance. Gift certificates are self explanatory. I can use my account to purchase and send an electronic gift certificate to anyone with a valid email address. Likewise, I can redeem an iTunes gift certificate. Allowance is a great feature for parents of teenagers. You can set up a monthly allowance, from $10 to $200, with 10 dollar increments (there are some darn nice parents out there if they're giving their kid a $200 a month iTunes budget) for new music purchases. They also improved the iTunes music store home page. You can now scroll through home page categories in stead of the static 4 per category from the old release. Lastly, they have added celebrity playlists. It was interesting to listen to what Michael Stipe would mix for a friend.

G. Andrew Duthie points to Plus! Analog Recorder as a great way to preserve those Christmas Albums, Halloween sound effect LP's and more that are out of print. Just like any good image tweaker should have a good scratch remover, every album lover should have a good analog recorder. Thanks Andrew! [Listening to: Riders On The Storm - The Doors

This is one of the prospect's for Japanamac's new logo... Nice, huh? In the near future there should be some more color on the page as well... It needs a little more contrast, don't you think?
