The man who is occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington has a campaign blog. Although, if you search at Google, there is still a satirewire blog the #1. My other question is, when will he do a Larry Lessig guest blog?

Another day, some more code. I made some good progress on my Pocket PC PDC Session project. Mostly just worked on the custom control to display the info. I've started on the code to sort and I'm trying to decide what I want to do about filtering data views. I'm hoping to find time to put together all of the session info from the conference and get the web service going. I'm jus tnot looking forward to trying to strip all the info off of the PDC web site.(Wouldn't it be great if I could just get my hands on an XML file or something with all the session info!)

We came...we saw....we gave 4 presentations at the University of Abertay and we left all within 24 hrs... Abertay was the first date on the 100% Inspiration Tour and was my first taste of what my job will be like for the next year. We flew up to Edinburgh on the Tuesday night and drove to Dundee on the Wednesday morning at a very un-Mark-like hour (around 7.30am). There were a couple of technical issues that we encountered that un-nerved us all. Did you know that the resolution on a Dell D600 laptop is so high that it can stop certain types of projectors from displaying presentations. We didnt before Abertay, we do now - we sorted it by lowering the resolution but it caught us off guard. Gavin and Dave gave 4 presentations: Mobility, .NET Framework, Web Services and Gaming & Graphics. All 4 were very well received and the presenters were awesome- I am aiming to start giving presentations on the tour as soon as possible but these guys do it with such style and professionalism that ...

I just had a strange conversation with top selling authorJames Maduk....He hates writing! Even though he's done incredibly well sellingbooks online. Last month, a single mailing pulled in over $2,700.00! To some of you that might come as a bit of a surprise when you consider he just finished writing his third book "52 Secrets My Mom Never Told Me About Internet Marketing". (100,000 words and 260 pages) Right now you might be saying to yourself - "I couldn'tpossibly create an ebook. I have trouble figuring outwhat to write in a Birthday card. How am I going to write abook?".It is a lot of work writing books. If you've tried it you'll know...butthen who said the only way to sell your information online wasby writing a book? What about creating your own MULTIMEDIA EBOOK!Who wouldn't love selling multimedia information products online withall these benefits:* Instant Publishing - your ebook is finished as soon as you stop talking! Stop waiting for time consuming edits and layout ...

This script uses Apple's GUI scripting technology to toggle between two sound outputs in the "Sound" pane in System Preferences. Adapted from script written by Corey Menscher for toggling with the Salling Erickson Clicker. <P>NOTE:<br>Apple's GUI SCRIPTING requires that <b><u>You Must Check </u></b>the "Enable access for assistive devices" option in the "Universal Access" pane in System Preferences.

Been busy tweaking spam assassin rulesets, so far my users have be overjoyed with the results. Not alot of reportable news happening lately in the GNOME world, but it looks as though many people are kicking ass behind the scenes. Fixed a bug with the cache on gd.org that affected people that have a language other than English set. Need to find a way to come up with some extra cash to buy a new gd.org server - it could use some extra speed.

Have done the full monthly update to the Registrar's pricing list. The mean price has dropped just over $1 to $44.29 plus GST. This is from some new registrars coming on board as well as several that did not have prices listed until now. I am expecting some of the 'cheaper' prices to come up $3-$6 as the DNC registrant mail out is now over. I am forecasting that the 'street price' of a domain name will move to just under $40 including GST over the next few months.

You know, the ones where people speak in complete sentences with some semblance of proper punctuation. I keep hoping someone will strike one up that's good today while browsing through the flash at tattoodles.com.My owner bought me a subscription to that site today, and told me to pick out some things I like to give him an idea for a neck tattoo for me, which is not one I could possibly do myself. He's got a room booked in the quarter weekend after this, conveniently close to my favorite tattoo shop.
