Hey Dennis Mills, it's time for you to go....

Same-sex vote won't matter, PM tells MPs [The Globe And Mail: National] I've been checking out Toronto radio over the internet lately, and listening to all the hatemongers calling in to proclaim that Same Sex Marriage will lead to beastiality, incest and God knows what else.... Many of these callers talk about the "need" for a referendum... Yeah, like my rights should be decided by Joe and Mary Sue in Hellberta and all their hatemonger friends? I don't think so.... The fact is, the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that anything less than Same Sex Marriage is not legal... Human rights are not decided through referendums, popularity contests, or ouija boards... They are put into law because they are the RIGHT thing to do... ...And who would have guessed that there would be so many Liberal MP's with no backbones? They whine on an on about how their constituents don't want it, so they want to vote against it... I guess in their minds, human rights are a popularity contest... I expect ...

US TV continues gay slant. US TV is continuing with its gay reality TV obsession, readying a new dating show where a woman must pick from a pool of men, despite some being secretly gay.

Who is writing Arnold's lines?
I saw the So, Arnold doesn't want to raise taxes, blames bad record keeping for Davis' bad decisions, but will somehow get us out of debt, get good information by using an outside auditor (Andersen?), cut waste but not services, and will balance the budget. I'm concerned about what he defines as waste. We're already cutting off clinical services to mental patients. He will also make decisions. That's what he said. He will listen to everyone then he, and he alone, will make the decision. (Has he ever worked with a legislature?) Schultz then gets up and says, yep, he saw Arnie listen, think, and make decisions. Arnie also says only millionaires can represent the people, because they don't have to raise campaign money. Asked what he'll cut, even an example of a program that should be cut, he said that decision will have to wait until after he is governor. After all, he's not a typical politician.Riiiight.

New Job!!
I will be starting a new job at Match.com this coming Wednesday. I am extremely excited about the job and I would like to thank Jason Alexander and Richard Wetzel for helping me out on the inside. Match.com has had a recent success story with .NET and it will be a blast getting to see how they did things. I'm also pretty excited to bring CodeSmith into a development team this big and see if I can get it to catch on. No matter what happens, I'm sure it will be a great learning experience and that great things will happen as a result.

DotNetToolBox.com Reviews
I recently wrote two reviews for DotNetToolBox.com, one on NUnit and the other on CodeSmith, two of my favorite free tools.ÂIf you get a chance you should take a couple minutes and contribute a review on your favorite free .NET tool, it will seriously only take you about 10 minutes.ÂApparantly Scott will really appreciate it. :) -James[WebLogs @ ASP.NET] Thanks James! Very nice review of CodeSmith.

Alpha 2 delay
It's hard to beat a 48-hour clock. There are still bugs to be worked out before Ver. 2 Alpha 2 (prerelease) will be available. Sorry guys. UPDATE: One reason for the continued delay, guys, is because we're moving into another house, and half of my days are spent helping with packing and hauling stuff. Another reason is because I'm revamping the article sorting / filtering system, which because of the many options is not a mere trivial hour-or-two process, particularly since it was already implemented before and I am now undoing much of what I did to reimplement in a new way.
